A Nigerian man has taken to social media to raise an alarm after alleging that an SUV driver, described as an “honourable,” vandalised his car and physically assaulted him with the support of accompanying security personnel.
Man recounts incident

In a distressed video posted online, the man narrated how the confrontation began when the SUV driver accused him of reckless driving on the road.
According to him, despite the fact that their vehicles never collided, the alleged official stepped out of his SUV and violently damaged his wiper and bonnet. Moments later, he reportedly called in naval officers who also beat him up instead of investigating the matter fairly.

Embattled man calls for help
Visibly shaken, the man stated that he captured parts of the incident on video and called on Nigerians, including activist VeryDarkMan, to help him seek justice.
His plea has since gone viral, drawing widespread anger from social media users who condemned the alleged abuse of power and demanded that authorities look into the situation immediately.
His words in part …
“Nigerians make Una help me, VDM help me. I’m in my car right now and a man just claimed to be a somebody and just came down from his vehicle and stated that I drove rubbish and damaged my car. I didn’t even hit him. He spoilt my wiper and my bonnet. I have a video evidence. They said he is an honourable and he called a naval officer or something and they came and they also started beating me. If I had done something wrong then let’s take this up.”
