According to him, the goal is to ensure that transportation within Oyo State becomes safer, more efficient, and capable of connecting communities across urban and rural areas seamlessly.
“We are committed to a system that is safe, efficient, and capable of connecting our communities seamlessly,” the governor stated, noting that the terminal would not only reduce traffic congestion but also promote economic activity by facilitating easy movement of people and goods.
Makinde also disclosed that several other modern terminals were under construction in different parts of the state, including Challenge, Ojoo, and New Ife Road, as part of a holistic transportation master plan designed to reshape Oyo’s urban landscape and drive development for years to come.

The newly commissioned terminal boasts world-class facilities, including a digital ticketing system, comfortable waiting lounges, CCTV surveillance for security, restrooms, and designated parking areas for both commuters and commercial vehicles.
