Controversial social media personality, Saidaboj, has sparked intense online debate after addressing women who are using actress Regina Daniels’ marital issues as a reason to avoid marrying wealthy men.
In a new Instagram video, Saidaboj doubled down on her long-standing message that women should choose financially stable partners, arguing that poverty does not make a man more loving, loyal, or gentle.
According to her, some women now cite Regina Daniels’ marital crisis with Senator Ned Nwoko as justification to settle for poor men, which she insists is “a dangerous mindset.”
She stated:
“Regina Daniels’ case is not an excuse for you to marry a poor man. Trust me, their own is worse. A poor man’s wickedness is even more painful. When you divorce, you won’t leave with anything. Some of you say, ‘Let me just manage my poor boyfriend,’ but how is your poor boyfriend treating you? A narcissist is a narcissist. A wicked man is a wicked man, whether poor or rich.”
Saidaboj criticized those who attack her for encouraging women to “marry rich,” insisting that financial stability contributes significantly to peace of mind and a healthier life environment.
“All those people coming to my DM to say, ‘Have you seen Regina’s case?’ because I tell women to marry rich men — listen, if you are poor, go and work for your money. Don’t use Regina as an excuse,” she added.
Her remarks quickly trended online, generating mixed reactions. Some netizens agreed that wealth does not determine a man’s character, while others accused her of promoting materialism over emotional compatibility and genuine partnership.
