Lizzy, known for her outspoken nature, took to her TikTok page to air her grievances, claiming that VDM—who has built a strong reputation calling out business owners for fake products and unethical practices—is himself guilty of the same behaviour he condemns.

Lizzy drags VeryDarkMan over alleged sale of fake iPhones

In a viral video, Lizzy alleged that VDM has been selling substandard iPhones reportedly imported from China, accusing him of hiding behind an image of integrity while engaging in questionable business practices.

She claimed the phones lack crucial features—most notably iCloud functionality—and stated that numerous buyers have returned the devices after discovering they were faulty or not recognised by Apple’s system.

Lizzy blasts VDM for alleged hypocrisy

Lizzy further accused VDM of practicing the very actions he criticises in others, especially small business owners. She pointed out how VDM has repeatedly demanded NAFDAC approval from skincare brands and has frequently called out entrepreneurs for selling fake or unregulated products, while allegedly failing to meet ethical standards himself.

According to her, this behaviour contradicts the image VDM portrays as a crusader for transparency and integrity on social media. She insisted that his actions show clear double standards.

Her statement included harsh criticisms, with Lizzy saying:

“Mister, I have integrity dey sell iPhone wey iPhone no recognize. He single-handedly, because of one customer, ruined Jenny’s Glow business today. Jenny’s Glow dey try find her feet. That same man wey dey find NAFDAC up and down… let me shock you, he is now selling a fake iPhone that has no iCloud. Customers are returning them back-to-back. He is ordering fake iPhones from China… Do you have NAFDAC? He was asking skincare sellers, ‘Do you have NAFDAC?’ but today he is selling fake iPhones. This is Nigeria.”

Her revelation has ignited heated debates online, with many questioning VDM’s consistency and integrity, while others believe Lizzy may be exaggerating or seeking attention.
