In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the promoter alleged that Kizz Daniel insisted on consuming seafood before leaving his hotel and outrightly refused the transportation arrangements provided, demanding instead luxury vehicles such as a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover to be sent for him. The promoter expressed frustration over the situation, highlighting the disparity between the artist’s demands and professional expectations.

According to the promoter, the singer was initially paid €80,000 (approximately ₦135 million) for the scheduled performance. However, the situation escalated with additional financial requests. Kizz Daniel reportedly demanded an extra €5,000 for his flight ticket, which was provided, and subsequently requested another €2,000 after missing the flight, which was also paid by the promoter’s team.

The promoter detailed the extravagant demands, stating: “Kizz Daniel insisted on eating seafood before going to the venue, and threatened that if he didn’t eat, he would leave the hotel. Even after they brought a van to pick him up, he refused to use it and demanded that a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover be brought instead.”

Despite all the arrangements and payments, Kizz Daniel reportedly arrived late in Paris and still declined to perform. The promoter made an emotional appeal to the public, demanding accountability: “Please, I want everyone to beg him to refund my money. He came to Paris late and still didn’t perform after collecting €80,000. He must refund it immediately.”

The incident has sparked significant reactions across social media platforms, with many Nigerians expressing disappointment over the alleged unprofessionalism and calling on Kizz Daniel to address the claims publicly. Users highlighted the impact of such actions on the reputation of Nigerian artists performing internationally, emphasizing that reliability and professionalism are crucial for building global credibility.

The story has drawn attention from entertainment enthusiasts, with debates emerging around artist conduct, promoter obligations, and contractual enforcement in the music industry. Fans and critics alike have weighed in, with some condemning the reported behavior and others urging caution before making final judgments until the singer responds.
